Home Depot's Kids' Workshop

I took the girls to the Kids' Workshop for the first time last weekend. They had a blast and it was a great introduction to woodworking for them. The store had a section reserved with tables and benches. Each child was given an apron with their name on it and a kit to make a project. We only made one project between the two of them because Robby was not with me.

The kids had a good time with the hammering, gluing and screwing. I was pleased that no one got hit in the head with a hammer or poked in the eye with a screwdriver. I think this will become a monthly activity for us!

Cute! I love it! Your kids do EVERYTHING! They're going to be "renaissance children".

thanks for the great idea Victoria! I am pretty sure Andrew is planning on taking Braedon next month. Looks super fun!
