They loved the cutting and gluing. They colored the animals a little, not as much as I wanted. They really had fun gluing grass and hay on the pictures. Catherine knows all of her farm animals. I was pretty impressed that Sabrina knew more than I thought she did.

First Lapbooks
I spend a lot of time reading homeschool blogs to try to come up with fun, educational activities for the girls. I decided to have the girls make "lapbooks" out of file folders. I originally was going to have the girls make separate ones, but I decided that was too complicated. So, they both made farm animal books.

They loved the cutting and gluing. They colored the animals a little, not as much as I wanted. They really had fun gluing grass and hay on the pictures. Catherine knows all of her farm animals. I was pretty impressed that Sabrina knew more than I thought she did.

Those are great! Looks like the girls had fun with them, too. :)
Too cute and fun. I saw a really cute Cinderella themed one at:

There is also a Curious George one on that site that I am thinking of doing with Braedon for his first one.
I just can't figure out how to actually do all of the things I would like to do. :-)
