Egg Carton Caterpillars

Last night we made caterpillars out of egg cartons. I gave each girl some paint and q-tips. Sabrina started out neatly, but quickly mixed the paint together and had basically a grey caterpillar. Catherine, on the other hand, painted each body part a different color.



Catherine gluing the eyes on the front of the caterpillar. I was so pleased that Sabrina started using the terms "front" and "back" also.

I am not certain why Catherine required so many q-tips. I am glad I got a box of 1000 at the dollar store, but I will still need to monitor how many she takes.
