Last night Catherine spiked another fever (102.8!!). As before, it came on very suddenly. She was fine one minute, and then she was so hot she felt like a casserole that had just been removed from the oven. So, I took her to the ER while Robby stayed home with Sabrina.
Catherine received IV antibiotics and Tylenol at the hospital. They took urine and blood samples to look for infections. Nothing grew instantly in the urine and blood samples, but the lab watches the samples for five days.
We got to go home last night and Catherine is doing OK. She is still lethargic and sleepy, but she seems OK. We are scheduled to have chemo on Tuesday. I hope she is healthy enough to do it, because it should be her last chemotherapy dose!!
