Brain MRI Results

It is good news – the oncologist just called and said that the tumor is even smaller than the last MRI and it was really small before. The tumor started in Nov 2007 at 1.3 cm, then reduced a few microns by Feb. 2008. By May 2008 it was almost completely gone (just a little shadow on the MRI), and now the Sept. 2008 MRI shows the tumor is “even smaller.” So that is all good news. We restart chemo on 9-29-08 for 4 weeks. Then, on 10-30-08 we hope to have bladder reflux surgery to fix that problem (the urologist is going to try D-Flux surgery, which is less invasive than the traditional open bladder surgery). The D-Flux surgery is an outpatient, 20 minute procedure (if every thing goes as planned).

Thanks for all the prayers!
