Bawk! Bawk!, Neigh! Neigh!

Catherine loved playing with the baby chickens. She wouldn't hold one, but she did enjoy petting them. We tried to explain to her that chicks were baby chickens, so Robby kept telling her "Bawk! Bawk!" to indicate that these are chickens.

We sing songs to Catherine all the time with animal sounds, but I never really know how much she learns and remembers. When we were walking back to the wagon for the ride through the orchards, Catherine said "Neigh! Neigh!" and pointed to this tire horse swing, which she wanted to ride.
