Fort Pulaski

While we were in Savannah, we visited Fort Pulaski. This fort was originally built to protect the Georgia coastline from foreign invaders, but was fought over during the Civil War. Much to our dismay, Catherine loved the prison and kept walking in and out of it. At least she looks sad behind the bars!
