Supportive Sister

Catherine frequently asks me to put Sabrina in her lap. However, almost three year old Catherine is a mere 23 pounds and seventh month old Sabrina is 17 pounds. You do the math. Catherine just simply does not have the size and strength to hold her baby sister on her lap. So, we try to sit Sabrina up next to Catherine with Catherine's arm around her sister. Sabrina does not have the balance yet to sit on her own, so she falls within a few minutes. Catherine tries with all of her might to keep her sister from falling, but alas they always end up laying on the ground together in a beautiful heap of little sisters!
