Fourth of July

One of the things we love about our neighborhood is the sense of community and the activities. There are a lot of young families with small children. Apparently it is a tradition for all of the children to decorate their bikes, strollers, and wagons for the Fourth of July and parade behind a fire truck. So, we joined in this year. We dressed the girls in red, white and blue and got a bunch of decorations. The bubble machine was quite a hit!
It is so difficult to get both girls to look towards the camera and smile at the same time - these pictures were taken after the parade, so we were all tired from walking 2 miles in the heat. Catherine put one of her stickers on her sister's tummy.
Sabrina can only sit for a few minutes before she loses her balance. Thankfully, her sister tries to help her regain the "sitting" position.
