Ahh ... Jewelry

Last weekend we participated in William's Walk and Run, a fund raising event for the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children. The night before the event, they held a reception. A local team of middle school soccer players came to entertain all of the children. They made necklaces and bracelets from beads. Catherine was in heaven:

In addition to the thrill of making jewelry, Catherine had several older girls playing with her for two hours.

Sabrina attended her first silly band swap:

I have never seen so many silly bands in my life. The girls spread them all out on the floor and talked about all of them. Sabrina wore about 15 on each arm. She was in heaven too!

Of course we were in heaven because our kids were completely occupied and we could sit back and relax for awhile.
