For Father's Day the girls bought Robby big bags of plastic cups - so they could all build towers together. They have actually built cup towers several times already. Last week we had some friends over and they built some towers. A. focused on making a strong base for his tower by tripling up on his first level of cups. Catherine built a perfect pyramid, then posed next to it for me to take a picture:
She seems so proud of her pyramid! I love these plastic cups; for
about $20 I have enough cups that the kids (and Daddy) can build towers all the time.
I did not take a picture of it, but our friend P. built tons of small, three cup towers. Sabrina has made rows and rows of cups. It is quite interesting to watch the kids' different architectural techniques.
