Coin Flap Book

The girls love anything that seems "crafty," even if it is a math assignment.  Last week we made our first ever "flap book."  The girls seemed to enjoy this, focused on it, and didn't complain about it.  I didn't realize how much they liked this project until I asked them what their favorite thing was we did in school one day and they both said "making the flap book."  Such a simple project which also teaches a little about the different coins.

Catherine's was purple and Sabrina's was pink.  As you flip open each coin type, four facts about the coin appear underneath.  I love all the amazing resources I can find all over the Internet!!
