Compound Words

I am always trying to think of creative ways to teach my girls.  I feel like I owe it to them to vary their education; worksheets alone would be boring.  Catherine also is loving increasing her vocabulary.  So, I made some strips of paper with compound words on them.  Catherine had a blast cutting the big, compound words in half and making two little words out of it.

As she was doing this exercise, Catherine kept telling me some compound words which I have forgotten.  We have actually repeated this exercise several times, and she always loves it!
