Clock Lessons

Recently Catherine's math lessons have been on TIME.  This is a huge struggle for her; I am not sure if it is because it is too abstract for her or because it is just new material.  In any event, she is struggling with these lessons.  Normally we can do two math lessons in one hour.  Today's math lesson, on determining elapsed time on a traditional clock, took an hour and a half.

Catherine did love using the "Wipe-Off" clocks which I found at the dollar store.  They came in a set of five for a dollar, which is good because after drawing the hands on them about five times, the dry erase marker no longer wiped off.  But, maybe this manipulative helped Catherine learn some:
