Egg Carton Jewelry Boxes

I read tons of blogs about crafts and homeschooling and I feel compelled to save all kinds of "craft supplies." After awhile I have amassed a somewhat large collection of empty toilet paper holders, empty egg cartons, etc.

The girls have used the egg cartons to make caterpillars. When I suggested we make another caterpillar, they both balked. But, I really want to use up some of these egg cartons and I can't bring myself to throw them out. So, I suggested we make jewelry boxes out of them and paint them. Being very feminine, they loved the idea.

They painted the "jewelry boxes." Then they drew earrings and necklaces on paper and cut them out. It was very cute!
