The girls thought the gophers were funny and enjoyed petting them on the head:

Catherine dropped her first pink ball down into a gully, so Daddy got her a second pink ball:

Sabrina had so much trouble trying to hit the ball with her club that she frequently gave up and carried her ball to where ever she wanted it to go. She actually got several hole in ones by rolling the ball into the "tunnels."
