New Activities

One thing I love about the Chattanooga Children's Museum (I promise they are not paying me to boast about it - although it would be nice if they did!) is how large it is and the special events they have. We just went a few weeks ago, but there were still enough fun things to do that the kids had a completely different experience this time.

Here they made sculptures out of plastic magnetized pieces on a light table:

They pretended to have a puppet show:

My dad and Robby joined the girls for a hand bell concert. The director had a big chart with colored dots. Whoever was holding the blue bell was supposed to ring the bell when the director put her finger under the blue dot, and so on. Catherine even understood that you are supposed to "rest" your bell on your shoulder while waiting for your turn. Sabrina did not understand waiting to ring her bell and tended to ring it non-stop. So, Robby had to take over her bell. But, Sabrina still acted like she was ringing the bell and shook her hands anyway. Catherine does not look like she is having fun, but she was.

We went to dinner after the museum. Sabrina is normally a great eater, but actually fell asleep on my lap during dinner.
