Catherine's Pictures

A friend of mine recently let her five year old take a bunch of pictures, which she then posted on her blog. It was fascinating to see what he thought was important enough to photograph. I love the idea so much I copied it.

This afternoon, during Sabrina's nap, I told Catherine I would let her take some pictures on my camera. I told her that she could take pictures of whatever she wanted to, whatever she thought was important (I am not sure if she knows what the word "important" means, however). She wandered around the first floor of our house and picked out various items to photograph.

Then, I loaded the pictures onto the blog and asked her to describe each one for me. I put her descriptions in quotes. Here are the results:
