I know it is obnoxious sometimes to always take pictures, but they are such a good reminder of where we have been. This shot is Catherine with her oncologist, Dr. Claire Mazewski. Catherine was 27 months old when she was diagnosed. That seems like so long ago! This shot captures just how little she was at the time: her baby fat face, her onesie outfit.
The doctor's black bag was filled with small toys, many of which were wind up movable toys. Catherine used to love going through her bag and spreading all the toys out on the examination table.
