The girls had a great time hanging ornaments on the tree. I had to give up my desire to have evenly distributed ornaments: as soon as they found a branch which was readily available for ornaments, they hung 6 or 7 ornaments on it, leaving the rest of the tree bear.

We also had to teach the girls that we will not take the ornaments OFF the tree until after Christmas. They apparently love the shiny balls and keep rearranging them.
