Last weekend we helped participate in the Cobb County Make A Wish fundraising walk. It was BITTERLY cold at 7:30 in the morning on Saturday, but 900 runners participated. Last year the organization was able to fund 6 trips from the money raised.
Catherine had surgery the day before on her foot and had her port removed, so she was really exhausted. She refused to even stand on her foot, which I am sure was pretty sore. So, I carried her the whole time.
Sabrina, however, was wide awake and all smiles, with sippy cup of milk in hand.
They brought some Wish kids on the stage to motivate the runners.
