Statements that have come out of my mouth recently:

- Please wait out in the bedroom. I will help you button your dress when I finish going potty.
(ten seconds later)
- Yes, I am almost done.
(ten seconds later)
- No, I don't need any help. I can go to the potty all by myself.
(ten seconds later)
- No, your princess telephone is not in my bathroom. Go back out and look for it yourself.
(ten seconds later)
- I will get you a cup of water in a few minutes.
(ten seconds later)
- Seriously sweetie, you need to wait in the bedroom. Turn around, leave the bathroom and shut the door behind you.
(ten seconds later)
- If you come back into this bathroom again, you will go to time out. Do NOT come back in this bathroom again.
