Lauren's Run

On May 3, 2009 we joined tons of other people to raise money in support of research to end childhood cancer. The annual event is called Lauren's Run, in honor of two girls who lost their battles with cancer. Many of the children had Tribute Signs - here we are sitting next to Catherine's. We got to take Catherine's sign home. We made the mistake of telling her that it was her sign, so she has been carrying it all over the house with her. I am so afraid it will break because it is made out of a waterproof, stiff cardboard. I think it may get hung up high in her room in the middle of the night, out of her reach - before she breaks it.
