During Christmas week we decided to tear out our old, white carpeted stairs and put in new oak treads and risers. We have not finished the new stairs, but here are some demolition pictures. I can't wait to get them finished, but we are quite challenged by the new iron railing we bought and have to install. Give us some time!

Love seeing all the pics. I'd love to do that to our stairs as well. I'll get Kirk to ask Robbie about it. Right now, we're finishing a room in our partial basement to make it into a bedroom. Kirk's doing all the work himself, so it's slow going since he doesn't have tons of free time!!
