Brain Tumor Foundation Christmas Party

Last weekend we went to a fabulous Christmas party hosted by the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children. Of course no one there wants to be in the group that the Foundation serves - families of children with brain tumors. But, the Foundation has always been supportive of us and it is always great to talk with families of children who have survived. I love meeting men and women in college who tell me what it was like to have cancer as a young child.
The girls meet Santa Claus for the first time.

Blessed with a great husband and two beautiful daughters, my life is so much richer than I deserve. We have moved from the scary world of "our daughter HAS cancer" to the more peaceful world of "our daughter HAD cancer." Still fighting some battles, but we are not alone. God is with us.
