Cotton Field Pictures

I've had a lot of compliments on the family pictures we took at the cotton field. I guess I should tell the "rest of the story." In front of the cotton field was a road which LOOKED like a dirt road. So we drove our SUV and our friend Julia drove her SUV along the "dirt" road only to learn that it was actually a SAND road. Her SUV got stuck first. Then, in trying to get hers unstuck, ours got stuck. We spent about 2 hours after we took the pictures getting the SUVs back on the main road. Eventually Julia's daughter & son-in-law came and saved us with a front wheel drive truck. It was not fun. It was hot and sunny. Robby tried to dig us out with his bare hands.

The girls got bored out of their minds sitting in the car seat, so I let Catherine pretend to drive the car while I played with Sabrina. At least the pictures turned out well!
