Kidney & Bladder Tests

Last week Catherine had some more kidney and bladder functioning tests. We were at the hospital (and then the urologist's office) for nine hours that day - so the nurses felt bad for her and gave her a balloon. We even put her socks and shoes on and let her roam the hallways in her hospital gown.

Because the doctors can usually use the port as an IV, Catherine has not had to have an IV in a long time. She complained about it a lot, because she could not use her right hand.
We taught Catherine the sign for "C," which we use as the sign for "Catherine."
