Hospital Pictures - Saturday

These pictures were taken on Saturday, the day of Catherine's kidney surgery. She was exhausted. The surgery lasted five hours, so she still had some of the anesthesia in her for the whole day. She had tons of extra tubes/wires connected to her: the oxygen sensor, the IV, the kidney drain, the stint for the ureter, the catheter out of her urethra, a heart monitor, and two lung monitors. There were a few times throughout the day when she would sit up and try to interact with us, but most of the day she just slept. You can see the surgical wound on her side. The kidney drain and the ureter stint are under the large white bandage.
