This was one of the first toys we ever bought for Catherine. I remember when she was in the hospital for her spinal surgery (she was eight months old) and we put this toy in the bed with her - we were so excited when she would reach out and spin the animals. After she has an operation, it is always so comforting to see her regain some energy and interest in her toys. Now Catherine loves this toy because it plays "Old MacDonald had a farm" and each of the animals makes its own noise. I also like this picture because Catherine is in a "tall kneel" position on her knees - which she does all the time now. A year ago we spent months in physical therapy trying to get her to "tall kneel," but she refused. Now she does it with no prompting!
