I am a little behind in my blogging. Here are pictures from the last swim meet of the season (which was several weeks ago). In our efforts to increase Catherine's independence, we have started letting her go to the concession stand with a dollar and purchase treats for Sabrina. Everyone knows her, so this is perfectly safe. But it also gives her some practice with a life skill.
Here is Catherine before she starts her heat. I have no idea what she is doing with her hands.

Catherine swimming. She basically doggy paddled. Ironically, just a few days after swim season ended, she started using her arms, like the freestyle stroke is supposed to be done:
The girls are huge supporters of each other. When it is Catherine's turn to swim, we go to the end of the lane and cheer her on. Sabrina even bends down and yells "Swim, Catherine, swim!"
