5th Swim Meet

Last week Catherine attended her fifth swim meet, the last of this season.  I love the pre-meet practice, when all the kids swim at the same time.  A few traffic jams are inevitable:

Catherine has been working so hard at going off the starting blocks, which are so high for her:

During the meet she has to be held back, because she is ready to swim even before it is her heat (one of the more fun aspects of the Lane Coordinator's position):

We were so proud of Catherine because she swam down the center of the lane and didn't even think about touching the wall!

Of course she did touch the wall at the end of her race!

She has learned so much this season!!
