Prepping the Floor

We are in the process of replacing all the carpets in our house with hardwood floors. This is an enormous project and will take a long time. Hopefully not too long, as it is no fun living in a construction zone. But, the end result will be worth it.

Obviously before we put the hardwood floors down, we have to rip up the carpets, the padding, and the tack strips. Last weekend Sabrina grabbed a hold of the shop vac and helped:

I am so proud to say that she was actually a real help in this process! She loved it and I am so thrilled with her heart of service. Catherine did not want to vacuum at all, maybe the noise scared her.
