I was a bit surprised that, in addition to Woody, there was a female woodpecker. The mascot handler told me that her name is Winnie Woodpecker and that they have two nephews: Knothole and Splinter. Who knew?

Woody and Winnie Woodpecker
We also got to meet Woody Woodpecker. The girls have never seen any of his shows, so this meant more to me and Robby than it was to them. But, the girls have kind of learned that meeting a mascot, any mascot, is exciting. Here is Catherine presenting her autograph book to Woody:
